Wesley Hutchinson grew up in rural, lower Alabama. While still serving on active duty with the Marine Corps, Wesley started Whiskey Run Customs in his garage. After retiring from the Marine Corps, Wesley’s love of creating has expanded to include the ability to stabilize rotten wood and to create one-of-a-kind pieces using acrylics. He uses many different everyday items such as colored pencils and pine cones in his designs. Wesley’s motto is “Never throw anything away”. He also uses the Lichtenberg (fractal) wood burning technique to create unique pieces out of different types of wood. Some of his item’s he makes are lazy susans, charcuterie boards, cheese/serving boards and several more beautiful item’s.
