Whether it be a custom piece for a fellow mosaic lover, or one of her own unique creations, Deenie Dowell puts the design above all and always assures that the viewer will be intrigued. Using salvaged and re-purposed materials, Deenie is breathing new life into the world of practical mosaics. And currently she enjoys making unique Lazy Susans and the occasional garden or stepping stone.
Mosaics Unleashed emerged from Deenie’s little shop, a small bedroom which spent a decade housing her first child before spending another housing her second. After being left vacant, it was morphed into a space of inspiration and creative solitude from which beautiful art could be crafted.
