I am a Recycle Artist and I handmake several different items in the categories of textiles, painting, and jewelry. I design and sew skirts from recycled materials, such as; vintage t-shirts, tops and dresses. Each skirt is uniquely designed as a one-of-a-kind. Many skirts are themed either by their graphics or messages of inspiration, travel, fandom, or humor. I also make and plan to sell tops that are made from recycled materials and recycled flannel jackets. I locally source my materials from receiving donations and shopping local thrift stores. I also rescue salvage wood and create signs I freehand paint quotes, scenes or sarcastic insights. Signs vary from small mini signs that are great for gift giving to large signs that are for home décor. Last, I design bracelets from recycled buttons. Each bracelet is again uniquely designed to be a one-of-a-kind. Vintage buttons are older than 30 years and I try to incorporate them as much as possible in each bracelet.
